No cons, yet. I used it immediately, even though I already had an open bottle of wine. It worked great with no effort. I grip the corkscrew body with my left hand while I grip the top of the stationary bottle on the counter with the same hand….then depress the large button at the bottom until it stops itself. I take off the tool and press the top of the button to release the cork. EASY-PEASY!!
UPDATE: I REALLY LIKE THIS PRODUCT, BUT I DON’T APPRECIATE “NO FOLLOW UP” FOR ONE OF THE THREE BONUS ITEMS OFFERED FOR LEAVING A REVIEW. Love this wine opener. Several years ago I purchased an expensive wine opener that consistently rotated the bottle even thou I was holding it steady. I have a hard time using using a regular wine opener even if it expensive. This one is a snap to use. Love that it is battery operated. I don’t have to leave it on the counter to charge. Buy it, it’s a no brainer. I hardly ever rate all 5s. It also comes with a foil remover. That works great too. I guess I’ll be drinking more wine now that I can open the bottle.

I’ve used many types of wine bottle-openers, but this beats them all. So simple to use. Just press a button, cork out; press another button, cork off! I also like that it looks nice on the counter, taking up so little space. I just hope that it lasts a while.

I got this after our “fancy” one bit the dust! I like that you can replace the batteries and it has a sleek design. Looks nice but could be bit more “upscale”. Only used it one time but worked great! I like that it is slim and easy to store!
Love this wine opener. Several years ago I purchased an expensive wine opener that consistently rotated the bottle even thou I was holding it steady. I have a hard time using using a regular wine opener even if it expensive. This one is a snap to use. Love that it is battery operated. I don’t have to leave it on the counter to charge. Buy it, it’s a no brainer. I hardly ever rate all 5s. It also comes with a foil remover. That works great too. I guess I’ll be drinking more wine now that I can open the bottle.

I like the ease of pulling out the cork. It fits ny hand just perfect. The attached foil cutter makes getting to the cork a breeze. It’s a great value for the money.

Easy to use opens wine efficiently
I’d been using a manual wine opener for years. I started having issues with arthritis in my right hand which made it impossible to open a wine bottle. A friend of mine suggested I try an electric wine opener and WOW this is the best thing ever! The instructions were simple and clear and the wine opener is very easy to use.

I use the product to open wine bottles. I really like it as it opens the wine reliably. I particularly like the fact that it uses batteries rather than being rechargeable, when the batteries get low simply replace them.

I used the new batteries and it seems when removing the cork it struggles. It still works just takes a little.
I have great difficulty operating a manual corkscrew due to strength in my arms and hands. This product makes cork removal extremely easy and takes only seconds. Once the cork is removed it reverses so the cork is easily retrieved. It comes packaged beautifully and would be a great gift for wine lovers. Wonderful product!
Seems a little underpowered. I can’t speak to how long the batteries last since I haven’t had it long enough yet, but I am concerned because it seems to labor so hard to pull the cork. I bought this battery-powered wine opener because two previous rechargeable ones eventually wouldn’t take a charge.
Was looking for a smaller version to keep on counter and this is it! Only thing I didn’t think I’d like was the colors in the photo but they only show up when the cork is being pulled out. Otherwise it’s a great looking sleek chrome look. I will order again.
I’ve had electric wine openers before and they always wear out. This uses batteries and they are easily replaceable if needed. I haven’t had to replace them yet so they last a long time. I am very happy with this, works great.
I was really excited for my essential quarantine purchase. I was over my hand corkscrew. This works wonderfully. The batteries did not seem to last too long, so my suggestion is to use rechargeable batteries. Easy to use

I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas present because he has really been into wine lately! He always struggles with the cork, and sometimes it gets broken really easily because he doesn’t really have a handle on how to use the regular wine opener. This wine opener is really easy to use and pretty fast. He loves it because it only takes a few seconds to get his bottle open, then he can go back to playing his video games really fast. It takes 4 batteries though that aren’t included, so if you are buying this as a gift make sure to include some batteries!
