The National Football League got underway in 1920 when it was known as the American Professional Football Association and began with 11 teams. Despite only 4 teams being able to finish the season the league kept going and continued to expand and contract wildly over that first decade. In 1922, the APFA was re-named as the National Football League.
Only a few franchises from those early seasons still exist today, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals and Decatur Staleys (now Chicago Bears) were both teams in that inaugural season, the Green Bay Packers joined the APFA for their sophmore season in 1921. The New York Giants are the only other current-day franchise to particiate in that first decade, joining in 1925.
In 1966 the NFL announced they had reached a merger deal with the competing American Football League which would also establish a single “World’s Championship Game” which would later officially be known as the Super Bowl. In 1970, the NFL and AFL completed their merger with the AFL teams forming the new American Football Conference and the existing NFL teams going to the National Football Conference.

I am not super skinny and have a bit of a mom belly. A pouch that is a bit saggy. I am very self conscious about it. This dress made me feel like a million bucks! It’s perfect for both casual and formal events. The material is not too thick or thin. When I first looked at it out of the package I didn’t think I’d like it. TRY IT ON!!! The slit is adjustable which is perfect for me because I love showing off my tattoo and I’m short so slits are always a little wonky on me. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to wear it.

I found this piece while looking for casual and comfortable dresses that could easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion, and one which could work for all seasons. This one caught my attention and after reading many positive reviews, I decided to give this one a go and I am SO happy with it! The material is very stretchy and comfortable, while also being thick enough to not show underwear lines. The rouching around the midriff looked super weird when I first tried it on, but after running it through the washer and dryer it actually makes the dress very flattering on my body. It hugs in all the right places, and provides some flexibility in the areas I’d rather not show off (lookin at you, belly flub). I wore it all day today and I received a lot more looks and compliments from my husband than I am used to haha!Sizing is pretty spot on- I am 5’6″, 135 lbs, and found the size small to fit perfectly. The hem reaches just above my knee, although it does ride up a bit as I walk around (which is honestly the only negative thing I can say about it).One final note: Another review mentioned that this dress works well as a maternity piece, which is awesome because I’d love to wear it whenever I become pregnant, but don’t let that sway you from purchasing it as a non-maternity piece. I am currently not pregnant and still find it to be very flattering on my body. I really think it could work for any woman, baby bump or not!
This dress was comfortable and breathable especially in New Orleans when I wore it to the Essence Festival. I got so many compliments. I like how you can adjust how high you want the split to be. It’s think and not see through which is a must. It flatters my shape. Just get it you won’t be disappointed I got an XL which fit great. I’m 5’4” and wear a 10/12.
I love this dress. You can wear with flat sandals or for a night out add sandal heels. I bought it in 3 colors. Very comfortable and shows your figure. I got a L and it fits perfect and hugs my body. I’m 5’7 and 157 pounds.

I absolutely LOVE these dresses! I started with just the grey, and it was great so I ordered the white as well. Love that too, so I’m going to be ordering three more colours after pay day. These dresses are so simple yet so cute, and easy to dress up or down. Cute flats or booties, jean jacket, and necklace make it great for happy hour or nicer day to day outfit (I work in a casual environment), but it also pairs well with sneakers or converse for what my boss calls “sport chic.” Every time I wear this dress, I get compliments about how cute and together I look, when in reality I rolled out of bed, threw on this dress and a coat of mascara, and left for work.As far as sizing, I bought a size Large and it’s a great fit. There is some stretch, which is nice and makes for a very flattering fit. I can see how it would be a great maternity dress, but I like that it’s not ruched in a way that makes you look pregnant when you’re not. My only recommendation is that, if you have a lower stomach pooch, you wear higher waisted underwear or Spanx to sort of hold things flat. I wear a higher waist thong with these and it works perfect. Plus, no panty lines.I also have the tank version of this dress. In my opinion, it’s not quite as flattering, but still cute and versatile. I can’t wait to try the long sleeved version when it gets cooler.
