The National Football League got underway in 1920 when it was known as the American Professional Football Association and began with 11 teams. Despite only 4 teams being able to finish the season the league kept going and continued to expand and contract wildly over that first decade. In 1922, the APFA was re-named as the National Football League.
Only a few franchises from those early seasons still exist today, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals and Decatur Staleys (now Chicago Bears) were both teams in that inaugural season, the Green Bay Packers joined the APFA for their sophmore season in 1921. The New York Giants are the only other current-day franchise to particiate in that first decade, joining in 1925.
In 1966 the NFL announced they had reached a merger deal with the competing American Football League which would also establish a single “World’s Championship Game” which would later officially be known as the Super Bowl. In 1970, the NFL and AFL completed their merger with the AFL teams forming the new American Football Conference and the existing NFL teams going to the National Football Conference.

Super cute vacation dress
Weird material that feels like a swimsuit BUT fits great love the colors.
This is my second purchase of this dress. Got the orange for a trip and purchased the purple months ago. The perfect stretch and it’s not thin material. It’s a thicker material and the high split you can manage on how high you want it. I’m sure I’ll will be purchasing one or two other colors as well.
This dress was comfortable and breathable especially in New Orleans when I wore it to the Essence Festival. I got so many compliments. I like how you can adjust how high you want the split to be. It’s think and not see through which is a must. It flatters my shape. Just get it you won’t be disappointed I got an XL which fit great.

I’m very pleased with my purchase. I ordered a “large” but had to return because it was too big. The “medium” is perfect—even the length will be fine if I wear a slight heel or wedge. I ordered the green/ leaf pattern and it’s very pretty. The quality is nice, the dress is lined, and I’m very satisfied.

I just needed something to wear to work. I’ve had other really cute high neck black maxi dresses before, so this one is winning. I wish the hem line was straight across instead of having the slits up side, but I really wanted so…I’m actually OK with it being a little bit sheer because I’m probably going to be wearing a sports bra under it anyway, and hopefully during the daytime it won’t be too bad??
This dress is soft. It fits me perfectly. ordered the small. Armholes are good and bra straps don’t show. I hate anything low cut. Neckline is nice.
