The National Football League got underway in 1920 when it was known as the American Professional Football Association and began with 11 teams. Despite only 4 teams being able to finish the season the league kept going and continued to expand and contract wildly over that first decade. In 1922, the APFA was re-named as the National Football League.
Only a few franchises from those early seasons still exist today, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals and Decatur Staleys (now Chicago Bears) were both teams in that inaugural season, the Green Bay Packers joined the APFA for their sophmore season in 1921. The New York Giants are the only other current-day franchise to particiate in that first decade, joining in 1925.
In 1966 the NFL announced they had reached a merger deal with the competing American Football League which would also establish a single “World’s Championship Game” which would later officially be known as the Super Bowl. In 1970, the NFL and AFL completed their merger with the AFL teams forming the new American Football Conference and the existing NFL teams going to the National Football Conference.

I purchased a large and it fits PERFECTLY. I will admit there isn’t too much room for stretch, it is form fitting. Material is thick and durable, not see through at all!It’s super flattering and I always receive compliments when wearing. It’s easy to accessorize too. It looks sooo cute with a leather harness! I already have another one on my cart for purchase, I’d say it’s a closet staple!

bought a size large, in royal blue. It fits and looks perfect so I ordered bright pink in the same size. It was awful! It looked like there had been a massive balloon in the belly area that had stretched the fabric to the max – and then deflated. It fit perfectly with the exception of the belly area, the extra fabric was just off the charts. I did notice that though the pink dress had the same design as the blue one, there were different manufacturer names on the tags. so, could be luck of the draw! I really love the blue one, good luck to you!

This dress was comfortable and breathable especially in New Orleans when I wore it to the Essence Festival. I got so many compliments. I like how you can adjust how high you want the split to be. It’s think and not see through which is a must. It flatters my shape. Just get it you won’t be disappointed I got an XL which fit great. I’m 5’4” and wear a 10/12.
Obsessed with this dress! It is one of the softest pieces of clothing I have ever worn. It is pretty see through (I have a tattoo on my booty cheek and it shows through very easily) and the sleeves are a little tight but it’s soooo cute!! Definitely need to tighten the strings more when I wear it out but I love it so much
