The National Football League got underway in 1920 when it was known as the American Professional Football Association and began with 11 teams. Despite only 4 teams being able to finish the season the league kept going and continued to expand and contract wildly over that first decade. In 1922, the APFA was re-named as the National Football League.
Only a few franchises from those early seasons still exist today, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals and Decatur Staleys (now Chicago Bears) were both teams in that inaugural season, the Green Bay Packers joined the APFA for their sophmore season in 1921. The New York Giants are the only other current-day franchise to particiate in that first decade, joining in 1925.
In 1966 the NFL announced they had reached a merger deal with the competing American Football League which would also establish a single “World’s Championship Game” which would later officially be known as the Super Bowl. In 1970, the NFL and AFL completed their merger with the AFL teams forming the new American Football Conference and the existing NFL teams going to the National Football Conference.

My favorite online yoga legging
I have been a HUGE fan of NFL Yoga legging for about a year now, and their original butter luxe leggings make up most of my workout pants at this point. NFL makes great leggings, but their version of a “high rise” has never really been a true high rise on me — I am very tall (6 ft) with a long torso, and most “high rise” pants barely come to my bellybutton. I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS! The rise is a little higher, which creates a WAY more flattering silhouette (doesn’t cut my butt in half or give me wicked camel toe, IYKYK), and the material is just slightly more compressive — still super silky, lightweight and comfortable, but gives juuuuust a bit more flattening of the things you want flattened. They don’t move, fold, roll over, slide down, or do anything weird, come in great staple/neutral colors, and are not see through. They’re also true to size and fit perfectly, while being incredibly comfortable. 10/10, absolutely incredible, give me all the colors!

I’ve had these in my cart on and off for a few years probably and I finally ordered them. Wow, wish I had been ordering them hundreds of dollars ago. While these are *exact* dupes, they are pretty dang close for the price. Close enough that I find myself reaching for them over other leggings. Will see how they hold up over frequent use and washing, as that’s where I think more expensive brands hold their worth! Will definitely be ordering more!

I really like the material and fit of the leggings. My 3rd pair is on the way. I am a short 5’3 and I found them in a shorter length and they fit perfectly. No bagging, or pilling. I am not walking around pulling them up all the time!

I recently retired (for good this time) and I like to use these leggings instead of tights for around the house and running errands.These are great under sweater dresses and for wearingwith tunics.I pair these with warm socks and sturdy boots or shoes and I stay toasty warm as well as stylish.These have good compression and keep your tummy flat. I like the range of colors and the options for leg length.Gives the look of quality but at a very reasonable price. I have them in beige as well as the deep navy.
These leggings are so good and I am a die hard LLL fan. I really liked the wunder unders then they changed them and this is the closest thing I have found to those! I wear a 4 in align and a 6 in wunder train. These have an align feel but perform like a wunder under!I have tested these in a variety of areas so far. Ran 3 miles and didn’t have to pull them up or adjust them at all. Did a full day of yard work and they didn’t roll or need adjusting even with all the bending and lifting. Did a weighted jump rope workout for 35 minutes and no sliding! I am so impressed with them. I wash them and hang to dry and have had no issues with pilling. Treat them like your name brand leggings and they will treat you well!I got a small in these and they fit perfect!
