The National Football League got underway in 1920 when it was known as the American Professional Football Association and began with 11 teams. Despite only 4 teams being able to finish the season the league kept going and continued to expand and contract wildly over that first decade. In 1922, the APFA was re-named as the National Football League.
Only a few franchises from those early seasons still exist today, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals and Decatur Staleys (now Chicago Bears) were both teams in that inaugural season, the Green Bay Packers joined the APFA for their sophmore season in 1921. The New York Giants are the only other current-day franchise to particiate in that first decade, joining in 1925.
In 1966 the NFL announced they had reached a merger deal with the competing American Football League which would also establish a single “World’s Championship Game” which would later officially be known as the Super Bowl. In 1970, the NFL and AFL completed their merger with the AFL teams forming the new American Football Conference and the existing NFL teams going to the National Football Conference.

I bought these several months ago, and I have noticed that I reach for these over my lululemon and Athleta leggings. They are most similar to my lululemon ones in terms of seems and fit, but they have a little more compression so they are more flattering and hold their shape better. They are still very soft, but they just seem more durable. I am normally a size small, and the small fits perfectly.

I finally decided to write a review on these leggings that I have been wearing for a couple of years. I now own multiple pairs, but my original pair is still getting use. The quality is better than anything I’ve bought anywhere else. They’re comfortable, and the high waist is perfect. Some high waist leggings make me very uncomfortable bc my stomach starts feeling too confined. But these have a higher waist line on the sides which controls muffin top, but the middle is lower, so my belly never feels cramped. I have the capri and the full length; both fit and look great!Update: I also bought some of the biker shorts by this brand and those are also totally amazing. Shorts tend to ride up my thighs usually, but these don’t! They dry very quickly, so if you want to wear them to a water park or rides where you’d get wet, the shorts are perfect for that.

Soft and Perfect fit
I ordered these in small as recommended, but I found them to be a bit too tight around the waist. After I sized up to a medium, they were perfect! Still very form fitting, but much less restrictive. Very flattering and comfortable to wear. The criss cross style band hugs my tummy and waist snugly without digging in or pinching, making my waistline look smooth. The hidden inner pocket is built into the criss cross tummy area, so a cell phone in it may look a bit funny. That’s the only negative thing I’ve found. The material thickness is great and doesn’t show panty lines as much as thinner material leggings do, but still very breathable and soft. I recommend sizing up if you’re on the fence on size (while small technically fit, the medium is so much comfier and more flattering around my tummy). As a shorty, the inseam is perfect full length leg coverage. I imagine the 23 inch would likely be capri length for my fellow short ladies.I’ll be ordering more of these!

LOVE THESE! They are nutty soft.. but not slippery, like some fabrics, they fit snug and hug you in all the right places without slipping down or anything. The pattern is not very noticeable unless you’re in bright light or up close to the material (I’m in a fast food restaurant in the photo so lighting is very bright), which is fine by me. I believe it’s a good dark blue/green//////teal color although I’m colorblind so I see colors very different than others. My ONLY complaint with these leggings is (as you can tell by the photo) lint, dog hair, cat hair, fuzzies etc. sticks to these leggings like GLUE, drives my OCD absolutely nuts. Aside from that, very comfy and not see through at all, a thicker material. Love these and will be buying in every color that I can!!

I thought I’d have to return these leggings. I held them up and thought – wth was I thinking to order a SMALL?! I won’t fit my arm in there, nevermind the junk in my trunk. I’m 5’4″, 130- most of my weight is in my belly and booty. I tried them on with no hope, and was surprised (shocked) that I did not have to fight for my life, and they fit perfectly. No spillage. I thought they’d have more compression. On a scale of 1-10: 6 in compression. Softness- 10. Thickness- 7. They do have the crotch stitching if that matters to you. I like the dark brown color. That’s mostly why I ordered them. No pockets which I’m sort of sad about, but some women hate them. Overall, flattering, decent quality, sisterhood of the traveling yoga pants fit. Sorry for the quality of my photos. Apparently my mirror needs a good scrub.
