This is not a mom suit!! It is one of the best fitting suits I have ever had! I am with a mom tummy. 34d chest. I got the large and feel awesome in this suit. It fits well and is flattering in and out of the water!
Weird large space at the top of the butt (bottom of lace up) if you have it laced right it was a little floppy gap but good quality!
Honestly, this might be the best swimsuit I’ve ever bought. I wanted something to alternate in on vacation that would cover my midsection where I tend to get burned. I burn easily since I’m fair skinned. I mean I’m red haired and freckled, come on you know it’s bound to happen. I wanted something different than a lot of tankinis and started wondering about a one piece, but I figured they’d all look like old lady suits. This is such a great option for people that don’t want to show too much skin, but don’t want to fall into looking like an old woman. It’s absolutely fabulous. I was really impressed by the material as it really nice quality.
So I really do like this swimsuit and cant wait for summer so I can wear it. The only complaint that I have is simply that I am small body type with a large chest.. This swimsuit doesn’t have quite enough material on the sides for my chest size. But I will just need to only wear it to the pool and not go diving..
I originally ordered a large, and it was wayyyyyy too big – returned and ordered a medium and it fit so much better! I really do love this swimsuit! There are a few drawbacks for my body type, however. It is long in the torso, but with my size butt, the low back gaps just a little when I tie it up. Nothing that would give people a show, it’s just not flush to my body. The cups are very foamy, so I took them out and the chest ‘triangles’ became a lot looser. So be prepared if you don’t like cups for the fit to not be as nice on the chest. I’m a 34B for reference. It is super comfortable and lined so I won’t worry. Can’t wait for my vacation so I can wear this every day!
I am pear shaped most swimsuits are not made for my body type. I have to have it fit my hips. H consequently it is too large on the top. I am constantly worried about a swimsuit malfunction on the top. Not with this suit. It is high in the bust area and fits snug. Many of the women in my water aerobics class wear this suit and like the fit. I hope this Americana suit fits as the others in the brand as the sizing is a little different. We will see soon as I ordered it today. Now I will own 11 of them.
I always read reviews before I buy. The swimsuit fits great, covers my stomach like I wanted and the back is still a little sexy. My only complaint is the straps (laced up the back) get uneven very easily and I am ocd so I take more time than necessary to make them even before tying it.
