The National Football League got underway in 1920 when it was known as the American Professional Football Association and began with 11 teams. Despite only 4 teams being able to finish the season the league kept going and continued to expand and contract wildly over that first decade. In 1922, the APFA was re-named as the National Football League.
Only a few franchises from those early seasons still exist today, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals and Decatur Staleys (now Chicago Bears) were both teams in that inaugural season, the Green Bay Packers joined the APFA for their sophmore season in 1921. The New York Giants are the only other current-day franchise to particiate in that first decade, joining in 1925.
In 1966 the NFL announced they had reached a merger deal with the competing American Football League which would also establish a single “World’s Championship Game” which would later officially be known as the Super Bowl. In 1970, the NFL and AFL completed their merger with the AFL teams forming the new American Football Conference and the existing NFL teams going to the National Football Conference.

This dress was comfortable and breathable especially in New Orleans when I wore it to the Essence Festival. I got so many compliments. I like how you can adjust how high you want the split to be. It’s think and not see through which is a must. It flatters my shape. Just get it you won’t be disappointed I got an XL which fit great.
I wore this in a cruise. Very cute, and very comfortable. Material is great!
I wore this for my birthday, and felt pretty comfortable in it. The side slit kept coming up a bit when I sat down, but I also didn’t mess with the drawstring which could have possibly helped. Overall, this was simple and cute.

This dress is really cute, it hugs you but isn’t tight. Normally I’m not a fan of ruching but it’s what makes this dress work. It’s very flattering. The first time I wore it I received several compliments from complete strangers. You can dress this up with sandals or white Adidas. It’s wash and dry, no iron is needed if you take it out of the drier while it’s damp and hang it to dry. Hey if it only lasts for one summer, it’s great. The cost won’t break the bank!

Perfect little dress
I wore this with Birkenstocks to buy groceries then a more feminine sandal for dinner. Doesn’t hug the stomach which I appreciate, and you don’t need a special bra either. More than likely getting at least one other color! Perfect summer dress!
Size up
This dress was perfect for our Caribbean vacation. The fabric is soft and fits nicely. I bought a small since I’m on the shorter side so had to cut about 8 inches.
Fun to wear!
I like this, but there are a few things to note. If you’re on the shorter side, you will need to hem this, as it’s very very long. The dress seems well made enough, but the fabric is a little on the thin side, it’s a bit like t-shirt material. Good stretch, very comfortable. But again if you’re on the shorter side, you might need to do a bit of tailoring on the sides as well, because the slit goes all the way up to where the bottom bust seam is, which on me was halfway up my ribcage, nearly to the bottom of my bra. All in all though, this is a decent piece for the price and I’m quite happy with making these few small tweaks.
I bought this as the base of my costume and it’s literally perfect. I love it. It’s not too tight or too loose. I will have to taps the girls so they don’t come out but this dress is so comfy and flattering.

I was pleasantly surprised with this dress. It fit perfectly. Lightweight but not see-through. I could wear my bra without straps showing. wonderful! I received compliments from every woman I talked to. I’m going to buy a couple more !!
