One key asset to a company is that should you receive a product that is not performing up to expectations, that said company stand behind its goods. Chefman did just that and to that I give kudos. I ordered this wine opener and when I went to test it, it just did not perform up to par. Immediately, they responded to me and sent me a new item with apologies.
I tried the new wine opener and it worked as expected. I had a big party this past weekend, which translates to a lot of wine bottles being opened. Every bottle, every time the Chefman Wine Opener and Foil Cutter was up to the task, and the blue light is kinda cool. Would I recommed this to you, without a second of hesitation.

It helps to read directions to use it properly. Just press down arrow to open bottles pulling the cork out, up arrow to remove unscrew cork. I love it, bought it for myself as my sister received one as a Christmas gift. I liked hers so much, I bought one for myself. She recently had a problem with hers with the down button not working to lift out cork, but mine is working just fine. I would give it a 5 star but not sure if there is a battery charging issue or not with my sister’s unit. She uses it more frequently with parties. However, mine is working great. Cutter is easy to use to remove paper covering top. Will never go back to old manual corkscrew, spoiled now. so easy.
